Drug Dealer Claims Jam Master Jay Sold Cocaine

*A convicted drug seller claims Jam Grasp Jay bought cocaine to make ends meet. 

Ralph Mullgrav testified concerning the alleged drug dealing on the federal homicide trial over the DMC’s 2002 loss of life. We reported earlier through CNN that the DJ of the hip-hop group Run-DMC was fatally shot in a recording studio in New York Metropolis in 2002. 

Mullgrav claims he bought Jam Grasp Jay, born Jason Mizell, “perhaps 1 or 2 kilos, right here or there” of cocaine. 

“Jason wasn’t a drug seller. He simply used it to make ends meet,” Mullgrav informed jurors.

Greater than twenty years after the killing, two males, DMC’s godson, Karl Jordan Jr., and his childhood good friend Ronald Washington, are on trial for the homicide. The defendants pleaded not responsible to homicide in a case.

An alleged drug dispute prompted the taking pictures, in accordance with prosecutors.

As CNN experiences, in August 2020, the US legal professional for the Jap District of New York unsealed a felony indictment alleging that Jay was concerned in transporting kilogram-quantities of cocaine between 1996 and 2002.

In July 2002, he acquired about 10 kilograms of cocaine, which was meant to be distributed by Washington, Jordan and others, the indictment states. However a dispute between Washington and a co-conspirator led Jay to inform Washington he could be minimize out of the transaction, prosecutors say.

Washington and Jordan then allegedly conspired to kill him. On October 30, they entered Jam Grasp Jay’s recording studio with firearms, and Jordan fatally shot Mizell within the head and shot one other man within the leg, in accordance with the indictment.

Jordan and Washington have been every charged with homicide whereas engaged in narcotics trafficking and firearm-related homicide. 

Mullgrav spent 12 years in federal jail for drug-related convictions. He was launched in 2013.
