Dricus for president? UFC champ says SA government is ‘worst in the world’ [watch]

Dricus du Plessis has shot down any future plans of working for president in South Africa. And in response to the UFC world champion, it has all the pieces to do with a “screwed up” system.

On Sunday morning, the Pretoria boy made historical past when he grew to become the primary African to win the middleweight title.

The battle – in opposition to defending champ Sean Strickland – passed off on the Scotiabank Enviornment in Canada.

DRICUS FOR PRESIDENT?

Whereas Dricus had a lot of South Africa united in delight over his victory, he doesn’t imagine he might lower it as a politician or president.

Talking to US interviewer Nina Drama forward of his UFC title battle on Sunday, he shut down any presidential ambition.

He stated: “No, thanks. I’m okay. To repair up something that they’ve screwed up this far? It takes lifetimes”

“It’s the worst authorities on the earth by a protracted shot. We’re actually and exceptionally s**t…it’s probably the most corrupt on the earth

He continued: “Our nation is gorgeous, the persons are wonderful…..There are a variety of nice individuals doing nice work. However I’ve to say, the federal government is horrible. Do I admit the tenacity by which they screw up? It’s astonishing”.

Of president Cyril Ramaphosa, he added: “He takes all the cash.”

NO PRAISE FROM RAMAPHOSA

In the meantime, social media customers are satisfied that Dricus’s feedback in regards to the authorities and president are the actual cause Cyril Ramaphosa has but to congratulate him publicly.

On each his personal and the presidential X account, Ramaphosa has shied away from information of the well-known fighter’s historic victory.

As an alternative, his previous couple of tweets are about congratulating the matric class of 2023 and asserting an upcoming media briefing of an Power Motion Plan.
