At CARVALHO, an artwork gallery, Ingrid Silva choreographs and performs “Echos on the Wall” as a part of the gallery’s ongoing collection which pairs dancers and choreographers with artists to create new work. “Echos on the Wall” is “a up to date ballet that weaves collectively the language of motion and silent tales, held within the areas round us, notably in partitions — each actual and metaphorical,” based on the discharge.
Silva, a Brazilian ballet dancer with the Dance Theater of Harlem (DTH), is joined by Elias Re additionally of DTH and Vinícius Freire of NJ Ballet, in collaboration with gallery artist Rosalind Tallmadge’s site-specific set up, “Pareidolia.” The exhibition opened on June 12.
