Curren Price Secures $4.2 Million Grant to Enhance South LA Wetlands Park – Los Angeles Sentinel

L.A. Councilmember Curren Worth is celebrating a big win for the District 9 group, asserting that his workplace has efficiently secured a $4.2 million grant for the South Los Angeles Wetlands Park.

The funding from Measure A will play a significant position in implementing a complete Grasp Plan that addresses important upgrades the group has lengthy sought, together with the set up of everlasting restrooms and the revitalization of a historic bus yard.

“The South LA Wetlands is a necessary asset in Council District 9 and a prime precedence for my workplace,” stated Worth.

“As we transfer ahead, the suggestions from the group will instantly affect the Grasp Plan, which can information the subsequent steps—environmental research and, ultimately, development.”
