Crenshaw Dairy Mart hosted the “Free the Land! Free The Individuals!” Farmers Market & Exhibition Closing Get together on Saturday, Feb. 15.

Blakeney commented that, in collaboration with the Inglewood Neighborhood Fridge, they have been helping impacted people with meals packing containers, after they “began noticing the disparity and the challenges that our Black and Brown neighborhood members have been going through.”

Huma Home held two workshops led by Meetra Johansen (co-founder and CEO), Tobias Tubbs (co-Founder and head of Huma Resilience Program), and Genea Richardson (teacher of Huma Resilience Program) specializing in The Artwork of Kokedama and its transformative energy. This historical Japanese approach, wherein people create kokedama balls utilizing moss and small vegetation or succulents, promotes mindfulness and tranquility.
