Congressional Black Caucus confronts ongoing assault on Black rights

Members of the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) firmly said that Black People are being attacked in numerous methods nationwide, with Republicans main these efforts.

“We refuse to be victims, and we won’t be silenced,” declared CBC Chairman and Consultant Steven Horsford (D-Nev.) throughout a State of Black America press occasion held on the Capitol.

“Our basic rights are below siege, and our historical past is being denied. However we won’t passively witness these actions. Too many individuals rely on us to struggle for them.”Latest occasions in a number of GOP-led state legislatures have intensified considerations inside the CBC.
