Compton Cowboys Partner With NMAAM For 2025 CMA Fest

Prepare, Nashville! CMA Fest 2025 simply turned up the amount, and it’s all due to the one and solely Randy Savvy. The Compton Cowboy himself, in partnership with Audio Chateau Data and Audio Up Leisure, is taking up the Nationwide Museum of African American Music (NMAAM) to host BEEN COUNTRY: Black Roots and Rhythm, a groundbreaking celebration of Black excellence in nation music.

“On the occasion on June 6, Savvy will debut new music and donate private artifacts to the museum’s everlasting assortment in a groundbreaking occasion that celebrates the wealthy legacy and vibrant way forward for Black artists in nation music.

‘This second is greater than music—it’s about reclaiming historical past and telling the complete story of the nation via the lens of the Black cowboy,’ mentioned Cortez Bryant, CMA board member and outstanding music govt. ‘The CMA and NMAAM deserve main reward for serving to nation music evolve by honoring its Black roots whereas opening the door to a extra trustworthy, inclusive, and consultant future.’

The occasion will characteristic a keynote from Grammy-nominated duo Warfare and Treaty and stay performances by outstanding black artists. The NMAAM may even unveil historic artifacts curated by Savvy, drawn from his Richland Farms roots—one of many few remaining Black family-owned ranches within the U.S., situated within the coronary heart of Compton.”
