Community Works To Protect Black Lives Matter Murals

Passionate activists and neighborhood members are being tasked with preserving the remaining Black Lives Matter murals.

With an administration pushing again on DEI efforts, it’s taking devoted activists and neighborhood members to guard the remaining Black Lives Matter murals.

In line with City Artwork Mapping, a public road artwork database, almost 150 “Black Lives Matter” murals nonetheless stand. Behind each is the dedication of native communities working collectively to protect the art work and preserve the message of social justice alive.
