ColorComm’s 8th Annual Conference Does It Big in Miami After Four-Year Hiatus

Do not name it a comeback— the eighth Annual ColorComm Convention returned to commemorate the excellence of girls of colour in an elaborate and fascinating program. Held July 26, 2023 – July 28, 2023, on the Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne in Miami, Florida, over 400 girls of colour enterprise leaders throughout the communications, advertising and marketing, promoting and digital industries reunited with buddies, and colleagues whereas additionally establishing new enterprise relationships.

The convention generally known as #C2Miami opened on Wednesday, July 26 with ‘The Warfare on DEI: This Isn’t a Florida Drawback’ panel of esteemed consultants on the impression of DEI. Opening day continued with the ColorComm Circle Awards, honoring seven girls of colour altering the face of the communications business, the place Star Jones served as emcee.

Additional, emphasizing ColorComm’s impression and affect in Miami, ColorComm was offered with a proclamation from the Metropolis of North Miami Seashore Commissioner Daniela Jean, marking Wednesday, July 26 as ColorComm Day in Miami.
