Clarence Thomas Previously Defended Law Clerk He Just Hired Who Allegedly Told Colleague ‘I Hate Black People’

Supreme Courtroom Justice Clarence Thomas employed a current regulation faculty grad who was accused of racism whereas working for a significant conservative nonprofit in 2017 when she reportedly despatched a textual content message to a colleague that stated, “I hate Black folks.”

Crystal Clanton graduated in 2022 from George Mason College’s Antonin Scalia Legislation College in Virginia, which introduced final week that she’d been employed as a regulation clerk for Justice Thomas.

After receiving a regulation diploma in 2022, she was employed as a regulation clerk for 2 Republican-appointed federal judges, which sparked a firestorm on Capitol Hill as Democrats on the Home Judiciary Committee have been conscious of the racist episode involving Clanton at her previous job.
