Chloe Bailey reminds everyone she’s ‘a grown woman’ when asked about a rumored romance with Burna Boy

Chloe Bailey doesn’t play relating to defending her non-public life. In a current look on “The Breakfast Membership,” the singer celebrated her current NAACP Picture Award nomination for Excellent Music Video for her tune “Boy Bye.” When requested about her plans to carry a date to the award present, notably Burna Boy, Bailey gracefully dodged the query and additional insinuations about her love life. 

“My God, mother and my supervisor,” Bailey mentioned, asserting her dates for the 2025 NAACP Awards. Nonetheless, when the interviewer adopted up by asking if followers will see extra of Bailey and Burna Boy, the star responded, “You’ll should ask him.” 

In December 2024, Bailey had social media in a frenzy when she made an sudden journey to Nigeria and was noticed galavanting round Lagos with Afrobeats star Burna Boy. Whereas rumors started to flow into the digital streets, the “Boy Bye” singer was out having fun with “Detty December,” a festive season in West Africa identified for its energetic events, music, and vibrant vitality. 

“Nigeria was so lovely. I had the perfect time,” she recalled. “I had some good meals. I had pepper soup. I had a number of spicy rooster. It was actually good, I had a good time.” 

“We need to know, is [Burna Boy] your boo? Is that this a factor [are] y’all collectively? Do y’all go collectively actual unhealthy? Are y’all simply having enjoyable? What’s it?” the radio present’s co-host requested. 

“Effectively, I’m a grown lady…[and] he’s a grown man, identical to I’m a grown lady,” Bailey responded. “I had a good time in Nigeria.”

Following the seemingly pushy interplay, Bailey defined that she doesn’t harbor any unhealthy emotions towards interviewers like Loren Lorosa, who ask the generally invasive questions that followers need to know. 

“Actually, I don’t thoughts. I imply, I hate to say this, but it surely’s my life. I imply, it’s what I [signed] up for [with this career], so I can solely count on it.
