Cardi B Slams Trump Over Immigration Raids: ‘Have Some Compassion’

As immigration protests erupt throughout the nation in response to sweeping raids and militarized enforcement, rapper Cardi B has joined a rising refrain of celebrities condemning President Donald Trump’s immigration insurance policies. 

The Bronx-born artist used a dialog on X Areas to talk on to followers, revealing her frustration and sense of helplessness below the present administration.

“Personally, the rationale why I haven’t actually mentioned something is as a result of I might say one thing each single day about it and guess what? Nothing goes to occur,” Cardi B mentioned. “As a result of Trump don’t give one f—ok about me or what I gotta say. I personally imagine that he doesn’t like me. So, if anyone don’t such as you, they usually say one thing or they do one thing, they’ll be like, ‘Oh phrase? Now I’m gonna present you.’”

One particular media consumer weighed in agreeing with the celebrated artist and mom.

“She’s proper,” X consumer Bryan wrote. “Donald is at all times making an attempt to show he has the higher hand in each scenario and can do something to show he can do no matter he needs if provoked.”

The Grammy-winning rapper has lengthy used her platform to talk on points impacting working-class People and immigrant communities. Through the dialogue, she expressed concern that her vocal opposition might set off retaliation. 

“He at all times provides [a] dictatorship vibe,” she continued. “I attempted to warn folks that this was going to occur. I don’t know anyone anymore within the White Home. I don’t know a consultant. I don’t know anyone in there. And if I discuss it each single day, he’s not going to care. Really, I really feel like if I discuss it each single day, he’s going to deport extra individuals on function to point out you. … Like, b—h, I run this nation.’”

Protests in Los Angeles this week introduced renewed consideration to the circumstances in ICE detention services and the aggressive nature of immigration enforcement below Trump. 

Cardi B pointed to the humanity of these affected, asking the president to rethink the harm being carried out.

“Have some compassion,” she urged. “They really have helped America quite a bit. We wouldn’t like for an American to get snatched up in Russia and get f—–g handled virtually like canine s–t. And we’re treating these individuals like they’re canine s–t, like not even people.”
