‘Bridgerton’ star Adjoa Andoh details racist bullying she suffered

“Bridgerton” star Adjoa Andoh endured brutal bullying in school over her pores and skin coloration.

The actor, who performs Woman Danbury within the Netflix present, was born to an English mom and an upper-class Ghanaian father and was singled out as the one Black little one at her college within the Cotswolds. Racist pupils on the college even smashed her head into partitions.

“If I’d stayed within the Cotswolds, there’s a life I might have had that may have been working for Lloyds financial institution, getting married, settling down and simply being there perpetually,” Andoh stated. “That would have been a really good life however I don’t assume it’s a life I’m gifted for.”
