British actor Tobias Menzies, Emmy winner for Netflix’s “The Crown,” has joined the solid of Apple Unique Movies’ Formulation One racing characteristic, Selection can reveal.
Menzies joins a solid led by Brad Pitt, alongside Damson Idris (“Snowfall”) and BAFTA winner Kerry Condon (“The Banshees of Inisherin”). The as but untitled movie stars Pitt as a former driver who returns to the game. Menzies’ position is being stored underneath wraps for the time being. Joseph Kosinski (“Prime Gun: Maverick”) directs and produces the Apple Studios characteristic alongside seven-time Formulation One champion Lewis Hamilton underneath his Daybreak Apollo Movies banner; Jerry Bruckheimer and Chad Oman of Jerry Bruckheimer Movies; and Plan B Leisure. Menzies stars alongside Julia Louis-Dreyfus in A24’s “You Damage My Emotions,” directed by Nicole Holofcener, which is at present on launch within the U.S. It will shut Sundance London and has been picked up for U.Ok. and Eire distribution by Signature Leisure.
The actor can be identified for his roles in HBO’s “Rome” and “Sport of Thrones” and Starz’s “Outlander.” In “The Crown,” he gained a supporting actor Emmy in 2021 for enjoying the late Prince Philip, the previous Duke of Edinburgh.
