Bowman Regrets Blog Posts That Touted 9/11 Conspiracy Theories

*(CNN) — Rep. Jamaal Bowman on Tuesday mentioned he regretted authoring weblog posts years in the past that pushed unfounded conspiracy theories in regards to the September 11, 2001, terrorist assaults.

The New York Democrat, who was censured by the Home final yr after triggering a hearth alarm regardless of there being no emergency, wrote in an announcement Tuesday that he regrets the posts he made, “having since discovered how misinformation spreads.”

In his response offered to CNN, Bowman slammed “MAGA extremists,” writing, “It’s apparent to everybody, particularly the far-right MAGA Republicans I tackle day by day in Congress, that I’ll at all times rise up and combat in opposition to misinformation and dangerous conspiracy theories.”
