Black Woman With Autism Makes History, Releases Her 30th Children’s Book

Nationwide — Ayanna Davis, an African American girl generally known as “Phenomenally Autistic,” has just lately illustrated her thirtieth youngsters’s e-book. She is an award-winning artist and Autism Advocate. Through her books and different initiatives, Ayanna champions for Black Autistics to realize recognition, data, and entry to sources to enhance their well-being with being Autistic.

At simply seven years previous, Ayanna produced her first artwork present, the place she additionally bought her first piece. By means of artwork, Davis has discovered a medium to precise herself when the challenges of Autism appear insurmountable.

Her reverent depictions and storytelling of Black, Autistic girlhood are designed to instill acceptance of the picture of themselves, and confidence to perform their desires. Along with her Autistic characters, Ayanna has created characters with vitiligo, albinism, limb variations, and extra.
