Black Twin Brothers to Walk 600 Miles for Foster Care Awareness

Nationwide — Twin brothers Davon and Tavon Woods from Pennsylvania, who have been adopted on the age of two, are embarking on a 600-mile stroll from Sumter to Philadelphia for 31 days to lift consciousness about foster care. With their motion referred to as #FosterKidsMatter, they’re stepping up for a trigger near their hearts.

“Foster care isn’t talked about sufficient,” Davon advised WLTX. Tavon added all they wish to do is “share our story and share tales of different children that went via foster care.”

Having been positioned within the foster care system instantly after beginning and adopted at 2 years outdated, the Sumter-born brothers goal to offer relatable experiences for youths who would possibly really feel unvoiced within the system.
