Black Teen Swarmed by Police After AI Security System Mistakes Bag of Chips for a Weapon

Nationwide — Taki Allen, an African American highschool scholar from Baltimore County, Maryland, was swarmed by police after an AI safety system falsely flagged a crumpled Doritos bag in his pocket as a firearm. The combination-up left him terrified and shaken.
