Black Author Aims to Break Generational Cycles, Challenges the Prison of the Mind in Black Families

Creator Jasmine Shegog’s first grownup e-book equips readers with faith-rooted instruments to heal trauma, reclaim emotional energy, and construct lasting legacies.

Nationwide — Creator and entrepreneur Jasmine Shegog has launched her first grownup e-book, The Energy of the Reframe. Obtainable in paperback and e-book editions on Amazon, the e-book calls readers to confront the “jail of the thoughts” and embrace new methods of pondering that break generational cycles of ache, poverty, and silence.

Shegog, identified for her youngsters’s books Now I’m Actually Mad and Foolish Little Squabbles, now expands her attain to adults, providing a information that blends scripture, private testimony, and sensible workouts. The Energy of the Reframe exhibits readers how renewing the thoughts can shift complete households towards wholeness and freedom.

A companion workbook will even be launched, offering readers with journal prompts, affirmations, and workouts to use the teachings in actual time.

“This venture grew out of my private journey of studying to navigate feelings and loss whereas serving to my youngsters do the identical,” Shegog mentioned. “So most of the struggles we see in our communities — incarceration, damaged houses, generational trauma — stem from the unhealed thoughts.
