Nationwide — Yoshay Carter, a 51-year-old African American man from Atlanta, Georgia, was arrested after allegedly capturing a juvenile who tried to interrupt into his automotive early Friday morning. Police stated the teenager was hospitalized with a gunshot wound to his foot.
Based on WLBT, officers responded to a reported capturing round 2:20 a.m. on Fairburn Highway SW. Once they arrived, they discovered a juvenile with a foot damage brought on by a gunshot.
In the course of the investigation, the juvenile admitted he had been making an attempt to interrupt right into a car when the capturing occurred. Police later recognized Carter because the automotive’s proprietor and confirmed he confronted the teenager in the course of the break-in.
Based on authorities, Carter fired on the juvenile, hitting him within the foot. The injured teen was taken to an area hospital and is predicted to get better.
Carter was arrested on the scene and charged with aggravated assault. He was booked into the Fulton County Jail.
