Arrest in Southern University’s Caleb Wilson’s killing

Police in Baton Rouge, La., have introduced an arrest within the hazing dying of Southern College scholar and band member Caleb Wilson with extra arrests anticipated.

Investigators found Caleb McCray and two different males, whereas sporting boxing gloves, allegedly punched the Southern College fraternity pledge member repeatedly within the chest. Police have now charged McCray, 23, a Wylie, Texas native, with felony legal hazing and manslaughter for the fraternity hazing ritual at a warehouse in late February.

Southern College is in Baton Rouge, La., about 5 miles from Louisiana State College. 

Police say extra arrests are anticipated.

Investigators say McCray is however the first arrest in reference to the dying of the 20-year-old engineering main following the off-campus fraternity hazing ritual.

Based on Fox 4 Information, Baton Rouge Police Chief TJ Morse mentioned throughout a press convention that “detectives have interviewed over a dozen folks and executed a number of search warrants to collect as a lot info as attainable.”

The police report obtained by Fox 4 reveals that Wilson “appeared to undergo a seizure and lose management of his bodily perform.”

Additionally, “Wilson’s clothes was modified earlier than he was dropped off on the hospital,” the place he later succumbed to his accidents.
