Are You Getting What You Voted For? DL Hughley Weighs In

DL Hughley delivered a scathing critique of the Trump administration’s insurance policies, urging voters, significantly African-Individuals and different marginalized teams, to replicate on whether or not they’re actually benefiting from their electoral selections.

DL highlighted particular examples of insurance policies which have had devastating impacts. He pointed to the deportation of Haitian immigrants, the rollback of protections for Venezuelans, and the continuing struggles of African-American communities dealing with systemic inequality. He additionally criticized the administration’s use of regulation enforcement and navy drive, likening it to the very authoritarian regimes the U.S. claims to oppose.

“You’re speaking about utilizing the military to brutalize individuals as a result of their leaders are brutalizing individuals, all when you’re brutalizing your individual individuals,” Hughley mentioned, drawing a pointy comparability to historic injustices.
