“I like Trump,” Sexyy Pink instructed Von. “Yeah, they help him within the hood. At first, I don’t assume individuals was f**king with him. They thought he was racist, saying little sh*t in opposition to ladies. However as soon as he began getting Black individuals out of jail and giving those that free cash. Aw, child, we love Trump. We’d like him again in workplace. We’d like him again, as a result of, child, them checks — them stimulus checks. Trump, we miss you.”

Trending As we speak:

Whereas Sexyy Pink isn’t falsely rehashing these efforts, Rye determined to publish a video phase to her social feeds in response to the rapper’s feedback as an “extension of grace” in an effort to deliver some readability to Redd’s interpretation of these initiatives.

“A few of this misinformation — a few of these ‘details’ — should be fact-checked,” Rye mentioned. “The arguments about what Trump has executed for the Blacks should be referred to as out, should be addressed. This video isn’t nearly Sexyy Redd. This video collection are actually to make sure that Black people who’re for Trump or simply may be by default perceive what he’s executed or not executed for us.”

Rye notes that simply because Trump pardoned Black individuals whose circumstances or status among the many public have been well-established like Kodak Black, Lil Wayne, and Alice Johnson doesn’t imply he made efforts to commute extra sentences of Black prisoners. She additionally alludes again to Trump’s infamous efforts to move the loss of life penalty in New York after the Central Park 5 — now often known as the Exonerated 5 — have been charged with the rape and assault of a white lady.

“There are nonetheless numerous Black people who have been in jail underneath Donald Trump. See the factor that it’s a must to perceive is that out of all the individuals who requested clemency, a commutation, a pardon, Donald Trump was really the president who pardoned the least variety of individuals since 1945,” Rye defined.

“The Small Enterprise Administration has somewhat entity referred to as the Workplace of the Inspector Normal. These investigations led to over 1,000 indictments, led to 800+ arrests, led to 529 convictions for people who engaged in PPP and EIDL fraud,” she said. “You didn’t get no free cash then, he ain’t providing no free cash now.”

Whereas Trump is already embroiled in a number of authorized battles, Rye highlights one in all Trump’s previous brushes with the regulation, particularly a swimsuit introduced forth by the Division of Justice for housing discrimination in 1973.
