*The eighth American Black Movie Competition Honors has revealed that Angela Bassett will probably be acknowledged with the Excellence within the Arts Award. The 2026 ABFF Honors, introduced by NICE CROWD, takes place Monday, February 16, on the SLS resort in Beverly Hills, California. This intimate, non-televised dinner will collect ABFF honorees alongside pageant companions.
The Excellence within the Arts Award celebrates a distinguished artist for his or her complete physique of labor and notable profession accomplishments. Extra honorees for the night embody Dwayne Johnson receiving the Leisure Icon Award, Jennifer Hudson being introduced with the Renaissance Award for her work on “The Jennifer Hudson Present,” director Salli Richardson-Whitfield accepting the Evolution Award, and actor Damson Idris incomes the Horizon Award.
ABFF Honors may also acknowledge the artistic group behind “Sinners,” the cinematic work from filmmakers Ryan Coogler, Zinzi Coogler, and Sev Ohanian, that includes Michael B. Jordan. New York Instances best-selling creator and comic KevOnStage will host the ceremony.
