NEW YORK (AP) — Former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo is suing state Lawyer Basic Letitia James in an effort to power her to launch interviews from the damaging sexual misconduct investigation that led to his resignation.
Cuomo filed the case in opposition to James in New York state court docket on Thursday, arguing he wants the witness statements in full to defend himself in opposition to two sexual harassment lawsuits linked to the investigation.
A federal choose declined to launch comparable data in a separate case filed by Cuomo final 12 months.
