Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority launches members-only credit union

Alpha Kappa Alpha (AKA), the US’ oldest Black sorority, is launching a groundbreaking new credit score union and putting possession within the arms of its members.

For Members Solely (FMO), which celebrated its grand opening Wednesday, is the nation’s first sorority-based monetary establishment to be owned and led by Black ladies, in response to ABC 11.

FMO membership will likely be accessible to the practically 500,000 AKA members throughout the globe, in addition to their speedy households, sorority workers, and staff of the credit score union, per the report.
