Lord, assist me be the Mom
You’ve got chosen me to be,
One father or mother with a loving coronary heart,
The mom of my three.
Give me knowledge and braveness.
A righteous and devoted chief I will be,
So I could reside by means of you, Lord,
An instance of excellent I could also be.
Educate me endurance and understanding,
Grant me compassion and kindness too,
So my daughters might want a young coronary heart,
Being type, forgiving, and true.
Assist me present them the way in which to salvation,
Lord, and the worth of their souls,
So they might maintain love, hope, and religion,
That may lead them on their pathway residence.
Remind me to carry them tightly
And tenderly allow them to go
So they could really feel my consolation and love
When at instances they might really feel alone.
And in our physique’s absence, Lord,
I am praying they might know
The one want that they might have
Is what I’ve instilled of their coronary heart and soul.
