A Love Arithmetic
Earlier than me is a sum
and the arithmetic is on my shoulder.
Minus, minus, plus, minus, minus, plus
is the formulae.
How do you win the guts of a virgin woman?
All you need to do is sing a love anthem
and recite the pledge.
Thus it goes,
‘for those who discover her romantic eyes skipping your eyes, discover a rose.
And when your rose finds out she wears a coronary heart
ensure there’s a form of man she likes’.
Perhaps he is the type who sings like a Nightingale
and calls her title in each rhyme.
Perhaps he is the type who smiles all time
and candy in contact as a hive.
Perhaps he is the type who performs on shores
and has her to not each chore.
Perhaps he is the type who’s worthy of belief
and conscious of breasts not.
So is the sum,
if she is one, and you might be one, discover her not.
If she is hard and you might be tough, rush her not.
Certain, if I can sing
to name her title in each rhyme
to smile along with her
on a regular basis as her variety
I’m certain, I’m that very man.
