BET’s HBCU Honors 2025 Celebrates Legacy and Artistry

The third Annual HBCU Honors, offered by BET, introduced an unforgettable celebration of tradition, legacy and achievement to the Duke Ellington Faculty of the Arts because the 2025 manufacturing taped in Washington, D.C. 

This yr’s ceremony paid tribute to 3 towering figures whose affect spans generations: Pastor Shirley Caesar (Lifetime Achievement Award), David Banner (Cultural Impression Award) and Janice Bryant Howroyd (Visionary Founder Award). The night featured highly effective performances from Jekalyn Carr, Y’Anna Crawley, Raheem DeVaughn, MAJOR., Gabby Samone, DJ QuickSilva, J. Ivy and Tarrey Torae.
