Presently going viral and stirring outrage on-line is a clip of a younger West Virginia soccer fan launching a heinous racist insult in opposition to a Black fan of a rival staff.

The video exhibits dozens of younger college-aged followers on the Yard Brawl rivalry soccer sport between the College of Pittsburgh Panthers and the West Virginia College Mountaineers on Sept. 13 at Milan Puskar Stadium in Morgantown, West Virginia.

Within the footage, the younger Panthers fan is heard telling one of many ladies to “repair her make-up.”

In response, the younger lady shouts, “Repair your pores and skin shade!” whereas strolling away.

The video garnered greater than 6 million views on the Snarps YouTube channel, and hundreds of feedback from many expressing shock on the lady’s vile remark.

“‘Repair your pores and skin shade’ is among the most insane issues,” one YouTube commenter wrote.

The younger lady, recognized as Kailey Sheldon, went on Instagram after the incident went viral to apologize for the comment and claimed there was by no means “any racist intent” behind what she mentioned.

“I notice how extremely hurtful, offensive, and unacceptable these phrases have been and it’s one of the crucial conceited feedback I’ve ever made,” Sheldon wrote, as seen in screenshots captured by Each day Mail. “No matter my intentions, it carried racist undertones, and I take full accountability for saying them. Phrases matter, and mine induced hurt so for that, I’m actually sorry.”

The assertion continues: “I do need to make it clear although that there was by no means any racist intent behind what I mentioned. I completely see how my remark could also be interpreted and the backlash I’m receiving for it’s utterly affordable. Sheldon added that she doesn’t “stand for racism in any respect” and regrets the ache she induced.

She goes on to share that within the midst of the clip’s widespread circulation, her household has been on the receiving finish of some on-line threats.
