In accordance with The Related Press, the legislation took impact in April and sought to ban DEI applications, coaching, and places of work in colleges. It additionally listed “divisive ideas” tied to race, intercourse, gender identification, sexual orientation, and nationwide origin. Wingate’s ruling prevents these provisions from being enforced whereas a lawsuit towards the state continues.
