“It may be hyperbolic for you as a white man. It’s actually not hyperbolic for me as a Latino,” Navarro mentioned.

“Oh, OK, we’re being racist now,” Polumbo accused Navarro. She instantly denied it, and Phillip jumped in, agreeing with Navarro.

“That’s not being racist,” Phillip mentioned.

“So dismiss my opinion for being a white particular person,” Polumbo charged.

Navarro mentioned she wasn’t dismissing his opinion, that she was talking for the Latino group.

Polumbo disagreed. “You don’t communicate in a single voice for them,” he claimed.

“OK, let me communicate with my voice then. You mentioned I used to be being hyperbolic, let me reply,” Navarro mentioned.

“Till you insulted me racially, certain,” Polumbo shot again.

“Being a white man is an insult?” Navarro requested.

“Whenever you invoke it as an argument,” Polumbo responded.

“Do you suppose Latinos could also be residing below sure circumstances different folks is probably not proper now?” Navaro requested.

That’s when Phillip jumped in once more, asking to pause the dialog.

“I simply need to make a degree that, Brad, all she’s saying is that her view of the state of affairs is completely different from yours. I don’t suppose that’s an insult,” Phillip mentioned.

“She mainly mentioned, I’m flawed as a result of I’m a white man,” he answered.

Phillip disagreed. “No, no, no. She simply mentioned, ‘I see it in another way.’ She mentioned, she mentioned ‘I see it in another way from you,’ which isn’t an insult. It’s not. And it’s additionally not a racial insult.”

Polumbo later responded to an X consumer who posted a part of the section on social media with the caption, “Ana Navarro dismisses opinion of CNN panelist as a result of he’s a white man.”

“Effectively that was enjoyable,” Polumbo seemingly joked.

“Girlfriend Brad Polumbo was huge mad with Navarro reminding him of his being white. Pearls!” one other  X consumer posted.

And nonetheless one other consumer posted: “She’s not dismissing his opinion for being white. She’s acknowledging that the Trump regime’s insurance policies damage folks of shade greater than white folks. Thus she isn’t being hyperbolic within the context of the hurt being induced minority communities.”

Immigration brokers have been detaining a rising variety of U.S. residents, a lot of them Latinos, within the Trump administration’s crackdown on unlawful migrants. Axios is reporting critics are calling the detainments “racial profiling and overzealous policing.”

A Division of Homeland Safety spokesperson has denied the stories, calling them false.

However as ICE raids proceed in largely Latino communities, a assessment by Axios of stories stories, social media movies, and different sources discovered a number of instances when U.S. residents have been wrongfully detained.

And the present appearing director of ICE, Todd Lyons, advised Fox Information they don’t want possible trigger to detain folks, seemingly admitting that they’re detaining U.S. residents.

“They don’t want possible trigger to stroll as much as anyone and briefly detain them and query them,” Lyons mentioned. “They only want the totality of the circumstances,” he added.

Lyons even mentioned within the interview that ICE brokers can cease folks primarily based on their “location” and “bodily look,” which is blatantly unconstitutional.

Through the 2024 presidential marketing campaign, Trump promised to spherical up and deport violent criminals who had come to the U.S. illegally as a part of an unprecedented “invasion.” However authorities information is displaying one thing utterly completely different.

As of June 29, 57,861 folks had been detained by ICE, in accordance with a report by Fortune. Of these 41,495, or practically 72 p.c, had no legal convictions.

“President Trump has justified this immigration agenda partly by making false claims that migrants are driving violent crime in the USA, and that’s simply merely not true,” the senior director of the justice program on the Brennan Middle for Justice, Lauren-Brooke Eisen, advised Fortune.

Eisen says there’s merely “no analysis and proof that helps his claims.”
