The third Knives Out film gained’t doubtless star Janelle Monáe in her compelling position as Andi Model.
The multitalented performer mentioned her future within the Netflix franchise throughout an interview with Leisure Tonight Canada June 5. Sadly for followers of the Rian Johnson-directed initiatives, Monáe stated her character’s return in a 3rd version of the franchise was unlikely.
“I’d be honored. However Rian [Johnson] is just not going to solid [you] for those who’ve already performed Knives Out — besides Daniel Craig as a result of he must be the detective Benoit Blanc that is available in, Monáe defined.
“Possibly, I’ll get cosmetic surgery, and I’ll simply change into a brand new actor, after which I’ll audition, after which I’ll get it,” she lightheartedly joked. “I like these homicide mysteries.”
The actress’s critically acclaimed position in Glass Onion: A Knives Out Thriller landed her many appearing nominations and award wins.
Among the most notable leisure titans that acknowledged the star’s masterful efficiency within the second version of the Knives Out franchise have been the Critics Alternative Awards, the NAACP Picture Awards, the Black Reel Awards and The Queerties.

In November 2022, Monáe revealed in an interview with Netflix Tudum that she’d needed to work with Johnson since his 2012 sci-fi movie Looper.
“That idea [of Looper] actually impressed me as a author and as a storyteller and made me need to work with Rian each time I had the chance,” she stated. “So when he reached out and needed to speak to me about this movie, after studying the script, I used to be like, ‘Hell yeah!’”
Monáe’s newest album, The Age Of Pleasure, dropped June 9.
