Ayo sat down with Jimmy Kimmel to speak about being from Boston, going again house to her highschool and being shocked by the Mayor with “Ayo Day,” staying in her childhood room, her yearbook picture and nicknames, the return of FX’s “The Bear,” and co-writing one of many episodes with Lionel Boyce.
The present is a couple of younger chef from the fantastic eating world comes house to Chicago to run his household sandwich store after a heartbreaking demise in his household. A world away from what he’s used to, Carmy should stability the soul-crushing realities of small enterprise possession, his strong-willed and recalcitrant kitchen workers and his strained familial relationships, all whereas grappling with the impression of his brother’s suicide. As Carmy fights to rework each the store and himself, he works alongside a rough-around-the-edges kitchen crew that in the end reveals itself as his chosen household.
Ayo Edebiri performs Sydney Adamu, a gifted and impressive sous chef who joins the crew at The Unique Beef of Chicagoland, serving to the restaurant transition into The Bear. She is a central character, tasked with bringing order and construction to the chaotic kitchen and restaurant.
