Unity and Music Unite Thousands at Roots Picnic 2025

On the heels of June’s Black Music Month, an estimated 30,000 folks from throughout the nation poured into The Mann at Fairmount Park for a weekend of celebrating Black music, tradition, unity and resilience on the Roots Picnic 2025 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Might 31-June 1.

The occasion featured world-renowned artists together with Maxwell, Glorilla, Latto, Musiq Soulchild, Jeezy, Tems, Miguel, Kaytranada, KUR, Laila!, Lenny Kravitz, Meek Mill, and D.C.’s personal Yard Band.
