The Los Angeles County Museum of Artwork (LACMA) has introduced the 2023 Artwork+Movie Gala will honor Judy Baca and David Fincher.

Fincher has remained a fixture in modern cinema, helming “Mank,” “Se7en,” “Combat Membership,” “Zodiac,” “The Social Community,” “The Woman with the Dragon Tattoo” and “Gone Woman.”
“Judy Baca is among the most vital American artists working right now. Drawing inspiration from her hometown of Los Angeles, Baca provides permanence to native histories via her monumental artworks, resembling ‘The Nice Wall of Los Angeles,’” Govan stated. “We’re thrilled to honor Judy for her achievements, for her dedication to public artwork and for her affect within the cultural panorama of Los Angeles and past.”
