‘Absolutely Bonkers:’ Sen. Joni Ernst Issues Cringe-Worthy, Sarcastic Apology from a Cemetery Over ‘We’re All Going to Die’ Remark

Iowa Sen. Joni Ernst is going through extra backlash after issuing a cringeworthy non-apology on social media over remarks she made at a raucous city corridor assembly Friday. When a voter expressed concern that Republicans’ Medicaid cuts would kill folks, Ernst bleakly advised the jeering crowd, “We’re all going to die.”
