Behind the headlines of spending cuts and tax aid is the unraveling of protections and sources that Black communities rely upon. The invoice reduces Medicaid by tons of of billions, slashes meals help, eliminates sponsored pupil loans, and expands tax breaks that profit the rich whereas sidelining these already at an financial drawback.

This price range does greater than trim federal spending — it guts the applications that function lifelines for hundreds of thousands.

1. $880 Billion in Medicaid Cuts
