Raritan Valley Chapter of The Links, Inc. hosts fundraising event

A day of class and purpose-driven impression marked the annual Swing into Spring fundraising occasion that the Raritan Valley (NJ) Chapter of The Hyperlinks, Integrated, hosted on Sunday, Could 4, at The Marigold in Somerset, New Jersey.

In keeping with Cara L. Walker, president of the Raritan Valley (NJ) Chapter of the Hyperlinks, Integrated (RVC), “This signature fundraiser helps the chapter’s scholarship fund, which has awarded over $200,000 to roughly 270 college students,” through the years.

Whereas acknowledging the devoted efforts of the fundraising chair, occasion chair, and planning committee, Walker mentioned, “Every year, Raritan Valley (NJ) Chapter members contribute greater than 3,000 hours of volunteer service all through Middlesex, Somerset, and Union counties in New Jersey.”

Toya Beasley, a legendary radio and on-air persona, served as occasion chair. The occasion was emceed by famend radio persona Lenny Inexperienced, from The Quiet Storm on WBLS-FM.

RVC was chartered on April 26, 1986, because the 213th chapter of The Hyperlinks, Integrated. In 2026, throughout the subsequent annual Swing into Spring occasion, the chapter will have fun its fortieth anniversary in recognition of 4 many years of friendship, service, and impression within the communities they serve.

Walker mentioned, her chapter is already waiting for their annual Tycene P. Edd Golf Outing, which shall be held on Monday, September 29, on the Neshanic Valley Golf Course in Neshanic Station, NJ.
