LA County Fed Joins CD 10 and Nonprofits to Host Community Food Distribution  – Los Angeles Sentinel

Greater than 2,000 households obtained free meals and important provides through the Neighborhood Meals Distribution held on Feb. 22 on the Los Angeles Sentinel. 

The L.A. County Federation of Labor partnered with Labor Neighborhood Companies, L.A. Councilwoman Heather Hutt, Brotherhood Campaign, Moms In Motion, and It’s Larger Than Us to carry the drive-through occasion to help individuals in want and people impacted by the latest wildfires.

In line with LA County Fed President Yvonne Wheeler, “Our unwavering dedication to serving these in want ensures that households obtain the sources they deserve throughout this difficult time.” 

Citing the gadgets distributed, Hutt stated, “We gave away vegatables and fruits, and even had hen and fish. That is tremendous vital in our group and thru this collective effort, we had been in a position to manage this occasion to have meals for our group.”

Brotherhood Campaign President/CEO Charisse Bremond Weaver careworn the significance of the distribution in gentle of “meals insecurities” in South L.A. and the larger metropolitan space.
