8-Year-Old Girl From Ohio Drove Herself For 25 Minutes to a Target Store

Nationwide — Zoe Wilson, an 8-year-old African American lady from Bedford, Ohio is safely again residence after taking her mom Tangie’s automobile and driving to a Goal retailer situated 25 minutes away, whereas her household and police looked for her. The incident occurred on the morning of Sept. 15, in response to a service report from the Bedford Police Division obtained by TODAY.

The household realized the kid was lacking simply earlier than 9 a.m. and referred to as 911 for help. The final time that they had seen her was almost two hours earlier. A neighbor supplied police and the household with footage from their Ring digital camera, which confirmed the younger lady getting right into a 2020 Nissan Rogue by herself and driving away round 7 a.m.

Cops in Bedford instantly started trying to find the lacking lady. In the meantime, officers within the neighboring city of Bainbridge noticed the Nissan Rogue parked at a Goal retailer. Dashcam footage from one other driver, who reported the automobile to authorities, confirmed the automobile weaving out and in of lanes because the younger lady drove it.
