Smithsonian Anacostia Community Museum celebrates a century of Black arts education

The Smithsonian Anacostia Group Museum has debuted its exhibition “A Daring and Stunning Imaginative and prescient.” The work, which focuses on the native educators and establishments that formed Black artists from 1900 to 2000, might be on show till March 2, 2025. 

The exhibit showcases a century of Black arts training by means of 85 archival images and artifacts, unique video footage, artwork and interactive shows.

The opening ceremony included a panel dialogue the place Howard arts alums got here to replicate on how Howard College impressed and molded their careers.
