Recycling plant employees recover diamond ring woman accidentally threw away

A South Carolina girl, Melanie Harpe, skilled a stroke of luck on Monday after her diamond wedding ceremony ring, which was by accident thrown right into a recycling bin, was recovered from an area recycling plant.

The incident occurred on the Rutherford Highway recycling heart in Greenville on January 28. Harpe’s precious ring had fallen off whereas she was disposing of recyclables, resulting in a quick second of misery earlier than it was retrieved.

“Public Works supervisors and litter crew members stated, ‘Let’s dump it on the bottom and search for it,’” wrote the Metropolis of Greenville.

Public Works worker Travis Golden discovered the ring “after hours of looking out,” town stated. Golden “struck gold. White gold,” town shared in a Fb submit on Tuesday, January 30.

The Metropolis of Greenville reunited Harpe together with her misplaced diamond ring on Monday. Within the Fb submit, town singled out the Public Works workers who performed a vital position to find the ring for commendation.
