KJ Smith says, “It was an immediate connection. All 5 of us. Actually, we have been all household from day one. We giggle collectively, we cry collectively, we undergo life collectively and that was evident from the primary day and it feels actually unbelievable to be within the seventh season.” Mignon says, “I don’t know why folks underestimate the facility of Black ladies. I don’t perceive it however I don’t know, Tyler doesn’t so I’m grateful for that and for y’all.”
Ebony Obsidian on the passing of her mom and the way her “Sistas” co-stars helped her navigate by means of it:
“First, I simply need to say, I don’t truly seek advice from it as a loss. I seek advice from it as a transition of presence as a result of I really feel my mother on a regular basis. I really feel her all over the place and she or he’s throughout my profession together with this present. It comes from different Black ladies, it comes from our moms who pour into us and our sisters who pour into us and I’m the youngest in actual lifetime of the ‘Sistas’ group and these are all my huge sisters.”
