Celebrity Support Helps Sneaker Ball Raise $350K In Scholarships

Non-public College Village (PSV), a parent-focused nonprofit group that helps Black and brown households throughout greater than 65 Los Angeles non-public faculties, celebrated its fifth anniversary on the Annual PSV Sneaker Soiree on Saturday, Nov. 4. Greater than 500 notable celebrities, enterprise leaders, and supporters of PSV’s mission gathered at Second Dwelling Hollywood for the prom-inspired, sneaker-themed fundraiser which raised greater than $350,000 for the organizations newly-launched program, The Village Scholarship (TVS).

TVS is a partial elementary college scholarship designed to handle affordability and the necessity to belong in a faculty group. The scholarship, for Black and brown college students from low-income households, is about to roll out as a pilot program in January 2024 by naming its inaugural recipients.
