The Big3’s return to CBS Sports activities comes amid troubling instances for the younger league.

Citing a report from TMZ, Yahoo famous a present investigation involving the rivalry between the NBA and BIG3. The Division of Justice is at the moment wanting into the NBA for “allegedly conspiring to undercut the success of the BIG3. The TMZ report talked about accusations of the NBA “trying to dissuade sponsors, tv networks, athletes and referees from working with the league.”

Information surrounding the NBA investigation has not gone unnoticed. Former NBA star and present BIG3 head coach Stephen Jackson weighed in on the event through social media as he took goal at of us who haven’t supported Dice or the BIG3 for the reason that league’s existence.

“Sh** is unnecessary. I’m first-team all-common sense,” Jackson mentioned on the time.

“When it got here out on social media that Dice was the primary black proprietor of an expert league, everyone needed to put up up for clout, no one truly needed to return out and present as much as the video games. Everyone was clout chasing,” he added.

“Dice was occurring, doing interviews saying how everyone was hating the league, blocking his sponsors. [He said the NBA was hating. Nobody believed him, but now it’s coming out to be true. It makes sense if all the coaches in the BIG3 are Hall-of-Famers and a lot of the players are ex-players from the NBA, why wouldn’t you support that? Oh, I know why. We all know why.”

Jackson’s comments come after Cube blasted the NBA and ESPN for their hate against the BIG3 with his own accusations. According to the 54-year-old rap legend, the basketball organization and sports network are working against his efforts to further the BIG3’s success.

“Ever since I put out the contract with Black America, you know they have been f**king with me. Here and there, this and that,” Cube said this past summer.

“But it’s cool, you know, I expect that. You know I’ve been working on the BIG3 for a long time and you know how they’ve been f**king with me. I’ve made it plain, simple, and clear what they’ve been doing. The NBA’s been f**king with us.”
