Allies in Hope Ball shines light on HIV epidemic

Allies in Hope, previously generally known as AIDS Basis Houston (AFH), a number one nonprofit devoted to ending the HIV epidemic within the larger Houston space, not too long ago held the inaugural Hope for Houston Ball to carry consideration to the HIV epidemic within the larger Houston space.

William “Jeffrey” Campbell, Chief Govt Officer stated, “I’m humbled to have the chance to guide Allies in Hope as we launched our inaugural Hope for Houston Ball to our donors, neighborhood companions and shoppers. This occasion allowed us to have a good time the various accomplishments we’ve made in 2023. What I skilled this night has made me extra dedicated than ever to guide Allies in Hope in ending the HIV epidemic within the larger Houston space.”

Practically 225 individuals attended the legendary ball, which introduced in over $157K that can go to supporting the impactful applications and companies Allies in Hope gives, together with however not restricted to HIV/STI testing and therapy, together with at-home testing, case administration, Stone Soup Meals Pantry, Camp Hope summer time camp for kids residing with HIV, supportive housing applications, incarcerated/not too long ago launched outreach and companies, and rather more.

The particular presentation included an awards ceremony honoring distinguished neighborhood advocates and Bread of Life, Inc. founders Dr. Rudy Rasmus and Pastor Juanita Rasmus.

“For nearly thirty years, we at Bread of Life have partnered with previously AIDS Basis Houston to supply training, prevention, and interventions; collectively we’ve been ALLIES IN HOPE! We have a good time this longstanding dedication to finish the HIV epidemic within the larger Houston space!” Rudy Rasmus stated.

Allies in Hope works towards the mission of ending the HIV epidemic within the larger Houston space. Specializing in HIV prevention, housing and supportive companies to individuals residing with HIV, Allies in Hope gives care to nearly 6,000 adults and youth affected by HIV and educates greater than 75,000 individuals all through Texas.
