CapeNature nature reserves: free to go to this month
Western Cape authorities entity, CapeNature will open up 24 of its nature reserves without cost this Tourism Month.
In accordance with Tourism Replace, the Free Entry Week will happen from 23 to 29 September 2023 and the general public is invited to entry any of 24 chosen nature reserves throughout the Western Cape throughout this time.

Those that make the most of the free week, will likely be be allowed day entry to the reserves for strolling, mountain climbing, hen watching, swimming and mountain biking.

West Coast Nature Reserves:
Groot Winterhoek, Fowl Island, Cederberg, Matjiesrivier and Rocherpan.
Winelands Nature Reserves:
Limietberg, Hottentots Holland, Jonkershoek and Vrojlikheid. (Assegaaibosch is closed).
Overberg Nature Reserves:
Kogelberg, De Mond, De Hoop, Marloth, Grootvadersbosch, Walker Bay and Geelkrans.
Backyard Route Nature Reserves:
Robberg, Keurbooms River, Goukamma and Outeniqua.
Karoo Nature Reserves:
Swartberg (cottages closed, however day entry open), Gamkaberg and Anysberg.
