Inmate advocates are in an uproar after an incarcerated girl was pressured to provide delivery by herself in a jail cell in Tennessee.
A lady was housed within the Montgomery County Jail, a 60-mile drive northwest of Nashville close to the Kentucky border, as she was approaching the time her little one was because of arrive. The jail said in its report obtained by CNN that the unidentified girl instructed a sheriff’s deputy that she wanted medical consideration at roughly 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 27, 2023.
