A time to unite: a look at the 2023 March on Washington

Historic civil rights leaders gathered on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial to proceed the work of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I Have a Dream” speech. Those that spoke highlighted the truth that the Black neighborhood remains to be working to beat lots of the similar obstacles they confronted within the Sixties. Elected officers spoke on the subject of voting rights and gerrymandering, which has restricted Black voters from making an influence in authorities management. Ladies like Bishop Vashti Mckenzie, Fatima Goss Graves and Arndrea Waters King took to the rostrum with ardour for making change within the civil and human rights enviornment.
